About the Committee
The Nils Foss Prize Committee consists of a Chairman and six highly-respected and knowledgeable members from the Scientific Community and International Food Industry-Innovation Community plus one representative from FOSS.
The Committee is responsible for nominating the qualified candidates for each of the Nils Foss Prizes. The prize laureate and talent will be confirmed by the Chairman and the CEO of FOSS based on the recommendations from the Prize Committee.

Henrik has been member of the Nils Foss Prize Committee since 2016 and chairman since 2021.
With more than 12.000 citations (h-index 56, March 2023), he is the author of more than 150 papers in journals, research monographs and proceedings, on food safety, zoonosis, antimicrobial resistance and emerging infectious diseases.
He has served as advisor and reviewer to national and international authorities & governments, international organizations and private companies, and universities and research foundations, and he has served, and is presently serving, on several national and international committees and boards on food safety, veterinary public health, and research policy.
He has received several awards, incl. the Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics International Leadership Award in 2003.
